100% of all proceeds from items marked with The Sparkle Project in the ARTery Boutique goes directly to supporting education initiatives at SHAMc.
Melinda Jones, affectionately known as Mindi Sparkle, was a passionate jewelry artist who adored all things shiny and bright. Diagnosed with childhood diabetes at a young age, she turned to the arts as a way to cope, heal, and celebrate life. Her vibrant personality and sparkling creations brought joy to everyone around her.
Although she passed away too soon, Mindi's sparkle lives on through a generous donation of her beads, findings, and jewelry-making supplies to the Safety Harbor Art and Music Center (SHAMc). In her honor, we are proud to announce the creation of the SHAMc Sparkle Project.
The Sparkle Project continues Mindi’s legacy by supporting creative expression and community engagement. Future donations from artists, whether in memory of those who have passed or from generous artists still with us, will directly support SHAMc’s mission. These materials will enrich youth educational programs, assist local artists in their practices, and provide supplies for community art classes.
All proceeds and contributions through The Sparkle Project go directly to support ARTreach, the heart of SHAMc’s programming.
Let Mindi’s legacy inspire you. Together, we keep the sparkle alive.
