EDUCATION
The heart of the Safety Harbor Art and Music Center lies in its education program. We proudly offer programming for all ages, from Pre-K to 12th grade, focusing on enriching young minds through creativity and hands-on art experiences that promote expression and social-emotional wellness.
Our offerings range from one-day classes to 4-6 week sessions, along with community partnerships. For instance, on MLK Day, students explore social justice through art that reflects their voices on inclusion and racial harmony. We also offer more in-depth sessions where students can delve into ceramics, textiles, and more.
We take pride in our partnerships with local organizations like the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center, Highpoint Family Center, Safety Harbor Recreation, and The Heart Gallery of Pasco and Pinellas County. These collaborations provide students with access to the arts, foster social-emotional growth, and encourage community involvement. We are continually seeking new partnerships to further enrich young lives and strengthen our community.
