Please Note: SHAMc reserves the right to cancel any class with less than 50% enrollment without obligation. In the event of a cancellation, you can transfer to another class or request a full tuition refund. Transfers must be used within 6 months. Failure to request a transfer or refund will result in the loss of tuition. Register early to avoid cancellation due to low enrollment.
Withdrawals must occur at least 2 days before the class starts. A refund minus a $25 administrative fee will be issued. Withdrawals made after this period will receive a refund minus 50% of the class fee for teacher compensation and a $25 administrative fee, unless other arrangements are made with the instructor.
ARTstart
ARTstart is designed to offer children ages 4–7 the opportunity to develop a love for art through literacy and hands-on experiences with a wide variety of materials and mediums. Each session encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression while introducing foundational art concepts in a fun and supportive environment. Classes are held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, providing consistent opportunities for young learners to explore and grow artistically.
Tween Art Scene
Tween Art Scene is an exciting opportunity for kids ages 8–12 to engage in enriching, hands-on creative art experiences after school. The program will be held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, from September through May, from 4:00–5:30 PM. AfterART at SHAMc is taught by a professional teaching artist and features unique art projects that build on techniques and skills over time. The program is designed to deepen students’ engagement with the arts while encouraging creativity, exploration, and artistic growth.
Teen Takeover
Calling all teens ages 13-17! Ready to paint your peace, collage your confidence, and doodle out the drama? Join us at the Safety Harbor Art and Music Center (SHAMc) for a art + wellness adventure made just for YOU. Presented in Partnership with Speak Up: Let’s Talk About Mental Health Non ProfitEach Teen Art Night, we’ll dive into hands-on creative projects that help you explore who you are, connect with others, and find fresh ways to chill out, speak up, and stay grounded in today’s wild world. Expect music, messy art, real talk, and new friends- all in a super supportive and totally judgment-free space. Whether you’re into paint, collage, or just need a break from the scroll and the stress- this is your time. No art skills required. All supplies and a snack provided. Good for your mind, great for your heart. Teen Art Nights are now FREE! Registration/reservation is NOT required.
