Three Days of Music, Art, Community & Celebration: December 4, 5 & 6, 2026
Join SHAMc as we celebrate a decade of creativity, connection, and giving with our 10th Year Anniversary: Creative Carnaval! This three-day celebration brings together outstanding live music, collaborative art experiences, colorful community traditions, and the joyful spirit of Carnaval. Throughout the weekend, whimsical circus performers will appear among the festivities, strolling on towering stilts, performing playful tricks, acrobatics, and unexpected feats of wonder. Each day, costumes are encouraged!
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2026
Mike Zito Concert*
Doors 7 PM/Music 7:30 PM
Launch the weekend with acclaimed blues artist Mike Zito for an unforgettable evening of soulful guitar, powerful storytelling, and electrifying blues. Carnaval attire encouraged!
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2026
City of Safety Harbor Christmas Parade - 10 AM
The first of TWO parades this SHAMcGiving… Get ready to bring the sparkle, the color, and a whole lot of SHAMc spirit to the City of Safety Harbor Parade on Saturday, December 5th! Vibrant costumes, joyful energy, and plenty of whimsy are encouraged.
FREE Community Art Project- 1 to 4 PM
All ages are invited to participate in a free make-and-take art project! No experience is necessary. This will take place in the SHAMc education studio, to the right of the main building.

Lowdown Brass Band Concert*
Doors 4 PM/Music 4:30 PM
Bring your dancing shoes for the infectious energy of LowDown Brass Band, blending New Orleans brass traditions with funk, soul, jazz, and hip-hop influences. Between sets, colorful circus performers will mingle with guests, keeping the celebration moving with laughter, spectacle, and surprises.

Mystery Concert*
Doors 7 PM/Music 7:30 PM
The excitement continues with a surprise performance sure to delight audiences and keep the anniversary celebration buzzing. Costumes, beads, feathers, and flair encouraged throughout the evening!
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2026
Live Mural Painting- Begins at 1 PM
Watch creativity come to life as artists transform a blank wall into a vibrant community mural celebrating ten years of SHAMc.
FREE Community Art Project- 1 to 4 PM
All ages are invited to participate in a collaborative art project that will be installed at SHAMc! No experience is necessary. Have fun!
SHAMc's Decorated Umbrella Parade- 2:45 PM
Join our annual Umbrella Parade, a joyful procession inspired by Carnaval traditions, creativity, and community pride. Accompanied by stilt walkers, jugglers, and roaming performers, led by the Gulfport Gecko Marching Band. Annual group photo at SHAMc at 2:45 PM, parade begins at 3 PM.
FREE COMMUNITY CONCERTS-
Gather with friends, neighbors, artists, and supporters for free community concerts that bring the weekend to a close. These concerts take place outside of SHAMc's building. Please bring your own chair!
