Austin is a ceramicist based in Winter Haven, FL. Every piece of pottery he creates- ranging from functional bowls to abstract sculptures- reflects his deep passion for clay and creative expression. Austin’s journey with ceramics began in elementary school in a small village in Ohio, sparked by the mesmerizing experience of a Raku firing.

Austin is known for showcasing his free-spirited approach through hand-building techniques. In this process, traditional rules are thrown out the window; it’s all about pinching, coiling, and slab-building to achieve unique, often quirky, creations. Hand-building enables Austin to sculpt organic shapes, experiment with textures, and bring truly one-of-a-kind pieces to life.
