Meeting Point: WhimZeyLand Art Environment (1206 3rd St N Safety Harbor, FL)
We'll start the tour with WhimZeyland*, a vibrant folk art wonderland created by local artists Todd and Kiaralinda. Since the 1980s, their colorful home and studio have been a Safety Harbor icon, featured on HGTV Extreme Homes and MTV Extreme Cribs. The yard is filled with recycled shrines, 600 bowling balls, mosaic pathways, and whimsical sculptures.
Across the street, visit Casa Loco*, a sister property inspired by Mexican and South American folk art, offering unique photo ops and mosaic art made from vintage dishes.
The tour concludes with participants driving their own vehicles to the nearby Safety Harbor Art and Music Center (SHAMc). SHAMc is a community-built, mirrored mosaic venue offering world-class music and educational programs. Discover the ODDitorium, and various creative and whimsical sculptures.
*These are private residences 5 blocks away from SHAMc and are grounds tours only, they do not include a tour of the interior.
