Natty Moss Bond was born somewhere in the south near Asheville, North Carolina back before Noah built the Arc. When she was too young to know any better, she moved to Saint Petersburg, Florida in search of love and the perfect tan. Love, she found love, the tan… not so much. And although love turned out to be fleeting, St Petersburg turned out to be a sort of rocking town. So, she stayed. And fell in Love again…..

She is an artist, a musician, a shopgirl and a housepainter. She fashions most of her creations out of things that others would call “garbage”. Natty thinks that is a ridiculous term. Broken plates become mosaics… old magazines and file folders become fodder for her booming card business. Scraps of wood out of dumpsters become beautiful art pieces. Candy tins, Bottle caps, aluminum cans… all raw material to be fashioned into works to cherish. Natty loves words. Many of her pieces are littered with string of consciousness prose/aka “thoughts”.

She started working in clay right before the big lock-down. It has become her latest love.

Saving the planet is something she thinks everyone should do, everyday. A friend once advised her “Do it, & then talk about it.” She took that advice to heart & has been trying to make a difference ever since.
