MEET THE ARTIST

My life started out in West Virginia where I spent many hours drawing. As a teenager, I moved with my parents to Dunedin, Florida. Fast forward to adulthood, I explored the business world but found my love of art was greater. I earned a Bachelor’s in Art Education and Elementary Reading from USF. As a retired art teacher of Pinellas County Schools, I have worked with a variety of media to help my students enjoy their natural creativity. I enjoy working with all kinds of media like fibers, ceramics, acrylic portraits, hand fired enameled beads and jewelry, and now a focus on repurposed materials like corks, pop tops, wire and plastic containers.
