I fell in love with the magic of stained glass when I was on a study abroad trip in the cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris - I was mesmerized by the beauty of the windows themselves and the play of colored light across the stone walls of the interior. I took a class 40 years ago, and have been working with glass ever since. I haven't made anything on the scale of those original windows, but I still find "painting with light" to be a magical, challenging, and rewarding media.
