Katie Bush is a professional artist and arts educator living in San Diego, California. She received her BFA from Georgia State University and her MAEd from UGA. In 2012, she illustrated and published a children's book about SHAMc artists Todd and Kiaralinda. She has many interests and, subsequently, many small businesses that she juggles all at once. As San Diego Chalk Artist, Katie travels around the country for events and festivals to create larger than life chalk art in front of thousands of spectators. When not getting her hands dirty, she creates logos and websites for yoga studios and festivals. She is the Marketing Director for SHAMc. In her spare time, she enjoys making zines, stickers, crafting with found objects, and working with ephemeral media. These heartfelt pieces are what she sells at The ARTery at SHAMc.
