Dawn grew up in Clearwater, Florida, and relocated to North Carolina in 2024. She now works with her sister, Stacy, to create handmade refillable journals using old books. Each one is transformed into a unique blend of a junk journal and a traditional journal, featuring paper dyed with coffee, tea, avocado, and purple cabbage, as well as eco-printed pages made with leaves and flowers.

Their journals include a variety of interactive and tactile details, such as tucks, tags, texture paste, stencils, stamps, and more. Dawn also creates cards and bookmarks from book pages, hand-crocheted jewelry using beads and buttons, and wood-burned pieces.
