My work began as a hobby and a love of the macabre, specifically skulls and bones. I do my best only use sustainable materials- mostly stone, glass and metals with very little plastic or other unnatural pieces. My love for skulls is part of a personal spooky/punk aesthetic but it has grown deeper through my interactions with people in the world. There is no exact market or type for my art, in defiance of age, race and background, I get so many different people falling in love with my skull and holiday/occasion themed jewelry and I believe it’s because underneath it all, we are all the same- same skull, same bones. Our sameness connects us and it inspires me to continue to share my art and my perspective and bring joy with its absurdity and whimsy.
