Teaching a camp at SHAMc isn’t just a summer job, it’s an opportunity to share your passion in a welcoming, vibrant, imaginative, and artist-centered space. At SHAMc, instructors enjoy educational freedom: the chance to design a camp around what you love most, inspire young makers with hands-on creativity, and introduce students to art forms they may never encounter in a traditional classroom setting. With small class sizes, support from student and adult volunteers, and the lively, colorful spirit of SHAMc as your backdrop, you’ll have everything you need to provide an educational week of learning, expression, and joy that will be unforgettable.
Each camp is a week long, running Monday–Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm throughout June and July 2026. Instructors receive $800 per week. Student and adult volunteers will be provided. All general supplies can be ordered, and special materials may be requested if within budget. All instructors must hold a Florida Level 2 license/background clearance.
