May 6th 2012 was a funfilled day of music at 8th avenue pub then a parade one block over to the future site of Safety Harbor Art and Music Center for a speech from Mayor Andy Steingold and Country Commissioner Neil Brickfield.  Gareth Asher sang his inspirational song “Get it Right” and the paper was torn away to reveal the amazing “pickets” that the community has created over the last year and the ceremonial “digging in the dirt to break ground”.
